REQUIRED EXPLANATION OF REQUEST
  The Development Services Agency respectfully requests Controlling Board approval to increase the appropriation of Fund 7037, 195615, Facilities Establishment Fund in the amount of $5,000,000.00.  
  The Facilities Establishment Fund is a revolving loan fund supported by the repayment of loans, service fees, and interest. The loans from this program are used to promote economic development, business expansion, and job creation for eligible projects in the State of Ohio. Eligible businesses include those engaged in, but not limited to, manufacturing, research and development, and distribution.

Currently approved and projected loans for Fiscal Year 2018 total $29,600,000. Projected loans will appear for approval before the Controlling Board between now and June 30, 2018.
