  The Department of Natural Resources respectfully requests Controlling Board approval to release capital funds from Fund 7086, C725N9 (Operations Facilities Development) in the amount of $627,376.84, in FY20, and for an agency released competitive opportunity in the amount of $583,105 to contract with SPGB Architects, LLC , Dublin, OH, to provide design services for constructing a new Marina Building at Alum Creek State Park located in Delaware, Ohio in Delaware County.  
  The purpose of this project is to replace the current marina building to provide the following support functions: limited office space with more focus on reception, retail, restrooms and other ancillary areas. The building will support the full-service marina that offers 240 slips ranging from 24-32 feet in length, with some offering water and electric. Courtesy docks, fuel, boat supplies, food concessions, and boat rentals.

Request for Qualifications were posted on the OFCC Opportunities web page on March 2, 2020. Seven (7) firms submitted Statement of Qualifications on March 18, 2020. Three (3) were shortlisted to submit proposals in response to the Request for Proposal. SPGB Architects was selected through a qualifications-based selection process.

In addition, an Ohio Facilities Construction Commission fee of $44,271.84 is being included in the total amount requested.

SPGB Architects, LLC has proposed a 5% EDGE participation through a vendor yet to be determined.
