  The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) respectfully requests Controlling Board approval of a waiver of competitive selection in the amount of $32,430.00 from fund GRF, ALI 600321 (Program Support) in FY18 to amend an existing contract with Wiechart Property Maintenance LLC., (Lima, Allen County) for emergency boiler and air handler repairs at the ODJFS property located at 145 South Front Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.  
  Repairs are necessary in order to pass the State inspection required before being able to turn heat for the winter months.

ODJFS contracts with Wiechart Property Maintenance for the 145 South Front Street property. However, the existing contract does not include the cost of parts and labor required for this necessary repair in order to pass the State's inspection.
3. Specify the deliverables of this contract or describe the scope of service(s) to be performed by this contractor.
Replace filters on all heating air handlers (AHU) replace blower belts on all heating units restart units and check operation drain boiler loop teardown boiler for state inspection (assemble after inspection with new seals) replace LWCO control and air vents install and configure new boiler controller replace bleeder vents install thermostats in 5 heating units replace faulty drives on AHUs replace faulty motor starter replace leaking pipes and connectors pressurize and restart system.
