REQUIRED EXPLANATION OF REQUEST
  The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), on behalf of the Ohio Children's Trust Fund (OCTF) respectfully requests Controlling Board approval of an agency released competitive opportunity (ORC 127.162) in the amount of $82,666 in FY18 and $17,250.00 in FY19, from fund 1980, ALI 600647 (Children's Trust Fund), to contract with Origo Branding Company, Inc., Columbus, OH for the development and implementation of a child abuse and child neglect prevention awareness campaign for the Southwest Ohio Regional Prevention Council.  
  Origo Branding will develop and implement a child abuse and child neglect prevention awareness campaign to provide education and resources that inform individuals from varying socioeconomic levels and cultures about how to take an active role in preventing child abuse and neglect within the Southwest Ohio Region. The Southwest Ohio Region is composed of Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland and Warren Counties.

This was publicized on the Ohio Children's Trust Fund's (OCTF) website for funding opportunities, as well as emailed to stakeholders and partners. A qualified vendor was not selected as part of that initial RFP process. Subsequently, an invitation to bid was utilized to target potential qualified vendors where they were asked to submit a brief letter of intent that addressed key components of the proposal.
